A line-up of Iranian films has been scheduled to be screened at the Lucania Film Festival in Italy.
Mehdi Fard-Qaderi’s ‘Immortality’, ‘Without Morning’ by Mohammad Baqi, ‘By My Side’ directed by Zaniar Mohammadi-Neku, Reza Golchin’s ‘Track’ and ‘From Hasake with Love’ are the films to go on screen in the official selection of the Lucania Film Festival.
To be screened in Feature Films category, ‘Immortality’ is Fard-Qaderi's first feature film that depicts events happening on a train during a rainy night. It chronicles six different families on different wagons of the train, gradually unfolding their stories.
‘Without Morning’ is an entry to the Narrative Short Films category, while ‘By My Side’ and ‘Track’ are to be screened in the Documentary Short Films section.
Finally, Iranian short film ‘From Hasake with Love’ is an entry to the Extra Screenings section.
Lucania Film Festival deals with works of independent scene and aims at identifying gifted people in the filmmaking industry.
